In collaboration with the Quincy Public Schools, the Symphony Orchestra performs Ervin Monroe’s “The Amazing Symphony Orchestra” at their 55th Young Peoples in-school concerts. This narrated trip through 200 years of familiar orchestral music introduces new listeners to the elements of music. Children love experiencing live music in a setting just for them, but the 45-minute performances are enjoyable for grown-ups too! The 11:30 a.m. performance is free and open to the public.
