A full time artist since 2001, Brenda Beck Fisher has lived in Missouri most of her life. The recipient of many local and national awards, she is a signature member of the Missouri Watercolor Society, Southern Watercolor Society, Watercolor Society of Alabama and a juried member of Best of Missouri Hands. She has participated in national shows such as the Missouri Nationals and the Biennial Chicago Exhibit.
Brenda’s work has been featured in local and state magazine publications, on billboards, chili cans and a wine label.
Several of Brenda’s watercolors are permanently displayed at Barnard’s Mill Art Museum in Glen Rose, Texas, Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois, Quincy City Hall, Quincy, Illinois, Hannibal Clinic and Hannibal National Bank in Hannibal, Missouri.
Brenda has illustrated the children’s book, My Tractor and Me, by Mia Pennewell and The White Horse, by Eli Goodman, MD.
It is Brenda’s desire for her watercolors to bring joy to those that make her art a part of their lives.
